Hello all. I’ve received a number of inquiries recently regarding my book Joachim Murat: A Portrait in Letters and its current unavailability. Long story short, my publisher passed away in 2025, the decision was made by his widow to close the company, so all the books published through them via Amazon were removed and the publishing rights reverted back to the authors. I never received the official letter they sent out about this last year and so only found out about the situation fairly recently. So, I’m going to be exploring my options, and looking into self-publishing it one way or another so it can be made available again, physically if possible but digitally at the very least. Once I figure something out, I’ll let you all know here. Thanks to everyone who has supported and continues to support my work, even in spite of my current inactivity.
Hi Sarah! Good to hear from you, even if it not the best of news. We are other wise OK, here in the Black Hills. All our kitties are fine, we have three now. My son-in-law is in the USAF stationed here but may be getting orders soon. That is going to be real bad for us because I cannot imagine life without my Grandson.
Did you ever get that fender on your car fixed? Do you even still have it?
Tom

Hello! I’m a student of the Napoleonic Wars and I just discovered this book of Marshal Murat’s letters translated into English (a language I speak better than French). I was disappointed to find that it’s no longer available on Amazon for the reasons explained in this article. I hope you can find another publisher willing to bring it back to market. I’d love to have a physical copy! Greetings from Spain.
